Refunds and cancellation

Nothing is being charged yet

Paperomat is in private beta. No plan is on sale, no payment method is collected, and no account is billed. This page describes what will happen when paid plans open, so that it is written down before it matters rather than after.

Cancelling

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the application. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

Refunds

• First payment, within 14 days. If Paperomat is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, whether or not you used it.
• If we broke it. If the service was substantially unavailable or did not do what we said it does, tell us and we will refund the affected period. We would rather do this than argue about it.
• Accidental renewals. If you meant to cancel and a renewal went through anyway, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it.
• Duplicate or incorrect charges. Refunded in full, always.

What is not refunded

Documents already rendered in a period that has been used, and charges for documents beyond a plan's included volume, are not refunded — those represent work already done. Annual plans past the first 14 days are refunded pro rata for whole unused months rather than in full.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address on the account. We will reply within three business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, and typically appear within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
